The WordPress Theme

Classico

Classico is a Premium WordPress theme unlike anything you have ever seen. It is the ultimate theme for both bloggers and developers. The clean, content-driven design looks amazing out of the box, but it is also really easy to customize – both via the theme panel or via the clean-coded and documented theme files.

Unlimited Background, 11 Custom Backgrounds & 6 Color Themes

Classico works in a very unique way.

Via the theme panel you can easily select either between 1 out of 11 custom backgrounds or use the WordPress background feature to choose the background you want with a colorpicker or upload your own background.

Plus, you can also choose between 6 different color schemes (black, purple, blue, red, brown or green) which will change your main navigation colors.

This means that you can create a very unique looking website with just a few clicks of a button. Mix and match backgrounds/color schemes to design a theme perfect for you.

Sweet Javascript-Enhancements

Classico makes use of two really cool js plugins to make your drop-down menus look fantastic. Plus, you can have an unlimed ammount of drop-downs which make it a perfect for even the most complicated site.

Classico also comes with a custom NivoSlider (featured image slider) which is a great way to showcase your top posts/pages or images. It is great for blogs, portfolios, and even corporate business use.

Other cool jQuery enhancements include a “back to top” button and tooltips (just add the class tooltip to any link.)

WordPress 3.0+ Theme

For Classico to work best you must have WordPress 3.0+ installed on your server. The reason for this is because this template uses some of the latest wp features such as the drag-and-drop menu system, featured thumbnails and custom background.

If you are looking to create a modern site you will need a modern theme – Classico has you covered!

Automatic Image Resizing

Classico uses the TimThumb script to automatically resize your images. This means that all you have to do is upload your featured image and your done. But while this is a cool feature there are a few requirements for it to run smoothly.

Important: TimThumb requires the GD library, which should be available on any host server with PHP 4.3+ – just ask your host if it has it.

Shortcodes

Classico comes with the famous Mojo Themes shortcodes plus a few more. All shortcodes are really easy to implement and the theme files include the list of shortcodes so you can copy and paste them so they are easier to use.
