Exhibit was specifically designed for creatives to showcase their work. A beautiful, responsive layout with 100% focus on the content makes it the perfect theme for your portfolio.
Responsive – Don’t limit your work to the eyes of desktop users. Exhibit is fully responsive and all assets used within it are retina ready as well.
Fully filterable portfolio – Make it easy for your users to filter through your work and discover what you can do.
Multimedia support – Exhibit’s portfolio supports images and videos so you can adapt it to showcase whatever you want.
Post formats – The blog also supports standard, link, quote and video posts so you don’t have to limit what you talk about either.
Accent color – Not a fan of red? Not a problem. The color picker in the site options panel allows you to choose whatever color you want. Hey, it’ll even change the social icons as well.
Site options – The site options panel on this theme allows you to edit a variety of settings without touching a single line of code.
Custom Logo – The site options panel also offers support to upload your logo and retina version logo. Don’t have a logo? No problem. A plain text logo option is also available.
Shortcodes – Tired of remembering all those shortcodes? With Exhibit you don’t have to. A built in shortcode generator is here to help.
Page Templates – Exhibit offers a variety of page templates including home, portfolio, team, full width and contact.
Social – The team members section comes with 16 build in social icons all with retina versions. The tweet button on the portfolio page is optional and there is even a custom twitter feed widget.
Custom widgets – Give your site a little something extra with built in custom twitter, recent posts and hire me widgets.
Localisation – Should you need to translate, .po and .mo files are included to help you out.
Browser support – Exhibit has been tested in all major browsers so your visitors don’t get any nasty surprises.
Documentation – Detailed, illustrated documentation has been provided to help you get up and running. Should you run into any difficulties, a support forum is on hand to help out.
Some nerdy information
WordPress 3.5.1 – Not only is it compatible with it, it was built in it. This theme requires WordPress 3.5+.
HTML5 and CSS3 – All the code is clean and commented. Everything is modern and up to date, how it should be.
SASS – The styles for this theme were written in SASS and the files are included. If you’re not into preprocessing, a custom css option has been added that will override the all other stylesheets.
Metaboxes – Extra custom metaboxes help keep everything tidy, organised and clear.
Demo Content – A .xml file has been provided. It is a replica of the demo site, however please note that the images are not included. They have been replaced by simple black boxes.
PSD – This theme was designed in browser, no PSD files are included in the download.

Final thoughts
A lot of thought has gone into the design and layout of this theme and I believe that it offers a great way for you to showcase your work with minimal effort on your part.
